How to Choose the Right Tiles for Your Space

Tiles play an important role in both the appearance and functionality of a room. When choosing tiles, consider where they will be installed, how much foot traffic or moisture the area receives, and the overall style you want to achieve. Porcelain tiles are durable and suitable for busy or wet areas, while ceramic tiles offer a wide variety of colours and designs for walls and lighter-use spaces. The tile size, colour and finish can also influence how spacious, bright and comfortable a room feels.

Helpful Tips for Selecting Tiles

Before placing an order, measure the installation area carefully and allow approximately 10% extra for cutting, breakage and future repairs. Check the tile’s slip resistance for bathrooms and outdoor areas, and choose a finish that is easy to clean and maintain. Larger tiles can create a clean, seamless appearance, while smaller or patterned tiles can add character and detail. We also recommend viewing tile samples under your actual lighting conditions, as colours and textures may appear different online. For the best result, select suitable grout colours and confirm that all tiles are from the same production batch.
